The gift of my VOICE

People always comment on my voice.

I’ve been told that it is everything from soothing to seductive. Friends encouraged me to use it more. But how? I did not know where to start.

It wasn’t until after I wrote my book that I received some lovely intuitive guidance. An audiobook! Do an audiobook, Cara! The messages were clear.

I was excited to get moving but something strange happened. I just couldn’t get into gear! It took me a good few weeks to realize that there was a block somewhere. It turns out my Throat Chakra was blocked.

The chakras are the seven wheels of energy in the body, starting from the crown of your head and down the body to the base of your spine. Chakras are commonly thought of as spinning wheels of energy. When they are spinning properly, each chakra allows energy to flow and move freely so that we are moving in harmony and alignment but if one of these wheels becomes blocked our well-being can suffer.

The Throat Chakra is associated with the color bright blue. Blue energy is pure, soothing, calming, and healing and connects a person with the divine. This chakra acts as the body’s communication HQ. Although it is primarily the throat, it also rules the tongue, lips, cheeks, jaw, and ears, as well as the back, neck and shoulders. These were definitely the parts of my body that felt heavy and I was inspired to take action.

So in true manifestation style, I took action as though my Throat Chakra was already unblocked. “I am doing an audiobook,” I told my dear husband Richard. “Yes,” I said, “I am finally going to use my sexy voice!” I laughed.

And in true manifestation style, the Universe had no choice but to give me what I visualized!

Recording the audio was scary. My insecurities and fears popped up. So did a couple of other detours (dad is ill, I got ill, etc) but I kept to the vision. I sent loving blue light to my throat area, used my crystals, and meditated. I also focused my energy on speaking my truth and letting people know how I felt when they disappointed/hurt me. And hey presto, recording the audio began to flow and now another thing on my vision board is done; I am so proud of myself.

My work on my Throat Chakra is not yet done. Now I am focused on the listening part. That is the last bit of my “work” and then it is show time babyyyy.

Once in a BLUE MOON

Hey Moon Lovers

I hope you are ready for some one-of-a-kind blue moon magic because this August 22, 2021 moon is a special one. This is the second full moon in a row rising in the sign of Aquarius – which means double the light (illuminations, reveals, conclusions, missing pieces) + double the opportunity.

This moon is also known as the Sturgeon Moon. Legend has it that this name came about because the giant Sturgeon Fish were plentiful at this point in summer and therefore easiest to catch.That is what this moon is all about : Catching those BIG FISH.

Here are my top tips on using the energy of this moon:

Get creative. With this moon rising in the sign of Aquarius, your creative juices are going to be pumping. The need for self-expression will be a theme. Journal, cook, paint, write. Find ways to channel that bubbling energy.
Think of your “big fish”. What are your biggest goals? What have you been working on that you need to finish with a bang? We are manifesting at a much more rapid rate than ever before with the amount of high-frequency light that is currently pouring onto our planet. Don’t sleep on this one. Now is the time to catch those big fish.
Rest. I can’t emphasize this enough. You may feel directionless and overwhelmed by all the energies at play. Ground yourself. Let the light of the full moon show you the best routes/maps/paths while you rest. (I plan to use a CBD strain of cannabis and meditation).

I’m your Venus! – Calling All Lovers

I’m your fire and your desire

I don’t know if I told you guys that I have a great lover. I didn’t? Well now you know. So yesterday I was looking over at my hot lover and there was an incredible glow about him. Just sheer, oozy, sexy, love energy!

I’ve been off work so we spent time in the hot tub, I enjoyed some cannabis in my vaporizer and he cooked. While I was admiring his shape I looked at the astrology forecasts for the next couple of weeks and I noticed that Venus – Goddess of all things love, beauty, desire has just moved into her home sign of Libra (Monday 16 August 2021). I was definitely feeling the vibes.

Hey Friends

Just a quick one from me to say thank you.

It was not easy to take the first step and start this website and blog. I had all the normal fears that people have – and a little extra! The spotlight has not been my favorite place in recent years and the media has caused me and my family a lot of anxiety. It affected my mental health. I took a long time to open myself up again.

But I did it!

And I am ready to share my story too. My book is coming out really soon and I can’t wait to tell you more.

Sharing our stories is a big part of how we can help each other heal and grow.

Thriving During MERCURY RETROGRADE (May 29, 2021-June 22, 2021

Hey Friends

Even if you don’t read your daily horoscope, you have probably heard someone complaining about “Mercury Retrograde”.

Mercury Retrograde has gotten a bad reputation, and it’s not surprising. Computers revolt and refuse to perform. Cars break down and all forms of communication are unclear, at best.

But Mercury Retrograde isn’t all bad. In fact, it is one of my favorite Astrological Seasons.

It’s a great time to find lost objects. Items that have been lost for months and even years seem to materialize out of thin air. It’s also the perfect time to connect with anyone from your past.

Cancelled appointments and rescheduled plans are often the rule and not the exception while Mercury naps. This creates space and opportunity for spontaneous experiences.

I have learned to surrender to the slower pace Mercury Retrograde brings and just go with the flow.

I am never disappointed! I actually look forward to it.

The Beginning…

Hey Sunshines

I’m excited to be here in this body at this moment in time. I’m even more excited to engage and exchange energy with YOU in this my very first blog post.

I’ve always believed in magic — and I’ve had some incredible synchronicities and signs come my way. It’s really easy to believe in magic when all that’s good happens. Right? It has taken me a long time and lots of inner-work to realize that there has also been magic in the hardest, most tragic things that have come into my life.

I wrote about this in my debut memoir, set to be published in the next few months. I will keep you posted on the release dates etc but for now all I want to say is don’t stop believinnnnn…*to the tune of the Journey song we all know and love.
